Ingredients

  • 1 bottle dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 1/2 cups peach nectar
  • 1/2 cup Bourbon (more if desired)
  • 1 lime, divided in half
  • 1 bunch basil leaves, slightly torn
  • 1 large peach, thinly sliced
  • 1 basket strawberries, quartered

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the wine, bourbon, and peach nectar.

  2. Juice half of the lime into the pitcher.  Thinly slice the remaining half.

  3. Add the basil leaves to the pitcher and muddle a bit.

  4. Add the peach slices, strawberries, and lime to the pitcher, reserving a bit of the fruit for each glass.  Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour.

  5. Serve over ice and add a little more fruit to each glass.

Recipe Notes

*More peach nectar can be added if you want it sweeter or more bourbon for a stronger sangria.

*It can be served right away, though a little time for all the flavors to mingle is best.
