These divine little beauties are everything and more I want from a galette, from perfectly ripe peaches and apricots, and more importantly from a baked summer-time dessert. Because if we’re turning on the oven in this heat, it better be for good reason, right? Well these most definitely were worth every ounce of extra heat they added to the kitchen and our apartment. Perfect Banana, Coconut & Hazelnut Cake with Creamy Nutella Frosting

Simple and insanely delicious baking project here we come. Guys this cake is what dreams are made of. Nutella and banana dreams to be exact. Words can’t do justice how good it is. And look, it’s in the form of a sheet cake. Which means, it’s a make, bake and slap on some frosting kind of thing. Not the commitment or labor intensive project a layered cake can be. The cake itself is made in one bowl without the use of any equipment and the frosting can be whipped up with a stand or handheld mixer. Easy Lentil Bread (Gluten Free + Vegan)

It seems crazy to me that I’ve only recently begun making lentil bread. But, I’m so glad I discovered this recipe a few months back and have been experimenting with it so I can share it with you today. This Easy Lentil Bread is life changing. That might sound a little nuts. But I’ll let you in on a little secret. While all bets are kind of off these days, in pre-pandemic life, I didn’t eat bread during the week. It was a choice. (A silly one you may think.) But since, there’s no way I have the willpower to give up a treat (particularly ice cream,) I decided I could save my other big food love, bread, for the weekends. I gotta say it wasn’ that hard and if we happened to be out dining somewhere on a weeknight, then obviously I indulged. And of course, when it comes to simit, that doesn’t count.
